Group trips in Colombia
Cartagena, Medellín and the Caribbean: South America's warmest country, made for groups.
Colombia has opened up to travel only in recent years and is already one of the most loved destinations: colonial, Caribbean Cartagena, Medellín reborn with cable cars and street art, Bogotá with the Gold Museum, Tayrona park with jungle meeting the sea, the Cocora valley with giant palms and the coffee fincas.
As a group Colombia is shared music, food and sea: whole houses in Cartagena, a boat to the Rosario islands, a coffee tour in Salento. Regions are distinct and linked by cheap flights, so you easily join only the Caribbean or only the coffee region.
Upcoming trips in Colombia
No trip is scheduled right now. Organise it yourself: publish the itinerary, others ask to join and you approve.
When to go
December–March and July–August are the driest periods. Climate depends on altitude more than season: Cartagena is always hot, Bogotá always cool. April–May and October–November are wetter.
Don't miss

- Cartagena — The walled city, Getsemaní, the Rosario islands.
- Medellín — Comuna 13, the cable cars, Guatapé and the Piedra del Peñol.
- Tayrona — Jungle and beaches, a night in a hammock.
- Cocora valley and Salento — The wax palms and the coffee fincas.
- Bogotá — La Candelaria, the Gold Museum, Monserrate.
💡 The group tip
Fly between regions (Bogotá, Medellín, Cartagena) instead of twelve-hour buses: it is cheap if booked early. In Cartagena rent a house in the old town or Getsemaní and a private boat for the Rosario islands: split eight ways it is a bargain.
Documents and entry
Entry rules depend on your nationality and change over time: always check your foreign office before booking. The official source for Italian citizens is linked below.
