Group trips in Spain

Andalusia, Barcelona, the Basque Country and the islands: Spain is many trips, and as a group you do one at a time.

⏱ Typical length: 4–10 days💶 Budget: low🏛️ Culture🎉 Party🏖️ Relax

Spain holds at least four different trips: the Andalusia of Seville, Granada and Córdoba with the Alhambra and flamenco; Barcelona and Catalonia; Madrid with its museums; the Basque Country between San Sebastián and Bilbao, for those who travel to eat. Then the Balearics and Canaries for year-round sea.

The group comes naturally here: tapas dinners that work better with many, shared city-centre apartments, one car for the Andalusia loop. Stops are cities linked by high-speed rail, so joining only Seville or only Granada is simple.

When to go

April–June and September–October for the cities: Andalusia tops 40 degrees in summer. July–August is the season for sea and fiestas; winter is mild in the south and in the Canaries, perfect from November to March.

Don't miss

💡 The group tip

Tickets for the Alhambra and the Sagrada Família sell out weeks ahead: book them for the whole group on the same day. In Andalusia the high-speed train beats the car between cities; the car is only needed for the white villages.

Documents and entry

EU/Schengen: a valid national ID card (or passport) is enough.

Frequently asked questions

How many days for Andalusia?

Seven days for Seville, Córdoba and Granada with a trip to the white villages or Ronda; ten adding Málaga and the coast. Three days cover a single city, a stop you can join on its own.

Do I need a passport for Spain?

For EU citizens a valid national ID card is enough: Spain is in the EU and Schengen.

When should you avoid Spain?

The south in July and August for extreme heat, and Barcelona in the busiest months unless you book ahead. The Canaries are the exception: at their best precisely in winter.
